I grew up mostly in Oklahoma. I met my best friend, Michael, at ORU almost 30 years ago and we’ve been married for over 26 years. We went on to graduate school together at the University of Oklahoma, and are proud Sooners to this day. We have 4 delightfully entertaining children, 2 boys and 2 girls; a dog named Popcorn and a “grand-kitten” named Mochi. I love coaching and cheering on my children (and others). I am also a Speech-Language Pathologist and have an unwavering passion for helping others understand that God created them for a reason.
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.’ ” 2 Corinthians 12: 9, 10

I love baking and camping.
Fun Fact: I turned down a scholarship to play softball at the University of Tulsa in favor of an academic scholarship to ORU. Pursuing excellence in both academics and athletics gives you options!
I love Jesus and I love basketball. My favorite part of coaching at LCA is being able to challenge young ladies to live and play for the glory of God. As the WAR Coordinator, the absolute best part of my job is speaking life to students on a regular basis, teaching them to lean on God when things are tough. More importantly, though, is helping them recognize the very unique and purposeful way that God created them for a very specific reason.
