LCA begins its university model scheduling in the 7th grade. Consequently, parents may register their student(s) for individual academic and/or elective courses for grades 7-12.
7th Grade:English, World History, Pre-Algebra, Life Science
8th Grade:English, American History, Algebra I, Physical Science or IPC
9th Grade:Freshman English I, History (fall-Worldview I which includes Honors Track; spring-Geography), Geometry (includes Honors track), Introduction to Physics & Chemistry, Health, and Speech, Biology (includes Honors track)
10th Grade:Sophomore English II, Worldview II (includes Honors Track), Algebra II (includes Honors track), Biology (includes Honors track), Chemistry (includes Honors track), Spanish I,
11th Grade:Junior English III, Honors Pre-Calculus, Worldview III (includes Honors Track), Chemistry (includes Honors track), Physics (includes Honors track), Spanish II
12th Grade:Senior English IV, Government & Economics, Personal Finance, AP Calculus, Physics (includes Honors Track), Anatomy & Physiology, Spanish III
7th - 8th Grade Electives:Keyboarding (spring), Praise Band I, Theatre Production, Art Combo
9th - 12th Fine Arts:Praise Band, Theatre Production, Secondary Art, Social Dancing.
9th - 12th Grade Electives:Yearbook, Photography, Writing Seminar, Basic Computer Applications, SAT/ACT Preparation, Student Teacher Aides.
7th - 12th Grade Study Halls:Monitored study halls are provided each hour throughout the day.
7th - 12th Grade Chapel (Higher Ground):Time is set aside each M/W/F for students and teachers to gather for worship, Biblical teachings, prayer, and fellowship.
Two days a week the students meet for chapel; on the other day the 7th-12th grade students meet in small groups for community service, discipleship, and learning specific life skills.
